    I came into Vietnam already tired, already overspent, and already telling myself I would slow things down. I had just come from the Philippines after a week with a holiday girlfriend and I thought I could reset in Ho Chi Minh City. Instead I ignored red flags, trusted the wrong person, and paid for it within hours of arriving. This is a very honest story about travel fatigue, bad judgement, nightlife, money, and how quickly things can go wrong when you stop listening to your instincts. It is not a warning, it is just how it happened, and what Vietnam quietly taught me before I left.

      Hi Peter, this video was a bit disappointing… A small context/content for a 32 minutes video. I suggest you stick to the other format as it could cover more info and events.

      Japan town is what its called in hcmc where the maze of massage parlours are. Some quirky bars and resturants there also. Bui vien is the drinking street. Just heads up for people who have not been but intrested to visit vietnam

      I do not have a problem listening to a long story.
      But for some reason I did not care for any of this individuals stories.
      I’ve been listening to your stories for years now and have thought about sending you a few of my experiences.
      But just have not been motivated to do so.

      I have a thai gf we haven't gotten married yet I live usa retiring and she's bkk i am telling you on paper not even married or anything trying to talk me into 30 million baht in debt supporting family buying properties cars also 800k thai bank for visa its just endless talk about red flags i see too many older guys being ripped off with dreams of younger women in foreign countries
      She gets the benefits you get nothing in the end I really have my red flag alerts up

      Interesting story but way too many irrelevant details eg. issues booking flights back to UK. Also, is this his first time in SE Asia? He seems to be a walking mark for the girls and getting scammed left, right and centre. Plus, scented candles to impress prostitutes? As long as you have the money and take care of personal grooming, they're very happy. Still, it's good to hear the stories of exploits. I haven't been to SE Asia in nearly a decade and really need to head back sooner rather than later

      I've followed you Peter since the very early days and genuinely enjoy your channel, I loved the animated series, you know its coming but, this guys stories are terrible. Who wants to hear about someone's dysentry. Either Edit the shit out pun intended or stick to tried and tested. alternatively tell me to mind my own business. keep smiling.

      You don’t need a booked Girlfriend… STOP doing that, If you want a Girl for a couple of hours you can pick one up at any Bar. Just have your time with her pay her then send her away. That way you don’t get any problems.. Never believe the SOB STORIES it’s a SCAM …

      Pro Tip: If you're in a non-English speaking country and anyone approaches you speaking fluent English do not entertain them. 9/10 it's a scam. Similar things occured to me long ago in Cuba.

      I prefer the longer stories, some of the short ones finish just as your getting into them, saying that I'll still listen as its part of my weekend routine now 😁 stay lucky Peter
