  1. You guys have to go to Pho Yuan Noodle House in Gardena. Corner of Normandie & Redondo Bch Blvd. The owners and food are the best!!!!! They're usually crowded as theyre every popular. The spicy chicken noodles are the best!!!!

  2. congrats on a super successful 2025 and Happy New Year! we need to definitely explore Torrance more. for hawaiian, there's a place called Aloha Stacks in el monte we've been wanting to visit. Dumbstruck coffee just opened in Rowland, (hojicha einspanner!), next time you're out there. fun note – we had kings hawaiian do our wedding cake lol. on to 50–>100k subs!

  3. this is so beautiful. I hate how they have in the last year had wicked all over the place. It has been horrific. This is such a sweet throwback and really good actors that are missed.

  4. Cool your in my Hometown Torrance…Torrance is very large city in South Bay Area. many Famous and Celebrities was born or lived in Torrance. Also you missed one Authentic Chinese Restaurant that been there for past 25yrs is Seafood Town. This Restaurant always gets crowded and give you large amount of food. One of hidden place in Torrance. Also El Retiro Park, next to the library.

  5. Big fan here. Love your videos. Im a fellow foodie here and I have to suggest Redondo. Sushi Kurasaki -Best sushi in South Bay. Then Sushi Chitose right up the street. Then Unico Japanese pasta. Then Pho Hue Oi in Redondo, then Rods on Artesia, Fatto a Mano, a Italian pasta specialist, then Kitakata Ramen in Torrance, then the Bull Pen in Redondo, Brothers Burritos and Tigers Fuego for tacos on PCH

  6. Hi Vic and Jeff,

I always love your insights about restaurants you’ve tried. Happy New Year! Excited for the content you will bring in 2026.

I want to let you know about a brand-new ramen restaurant in Little Tokyo, Tenkaippin. They have a long history which started in 1971 in Kyoto, Japan. They now have over 200 restaurants. Their first overseas location is in Little Tokyo. They specialize in kotteri style ramen which is rich and condensed taste broth. I recently tried it and felt it is top tier ramen. There are some preferences that don’t align with me but that is just me. There is so much chicken, that aftertaste is strong. The broth is clean tasting which may be boring compared to other ramen restaurants in So. California but it demonstrates the quality of ingredients being used. Perhaps they didn’t do anything with the aftertaste to showcase its purity. Enough of me talking gibberish. I recommend for you to try and know about. Would love to hear your opinion.

  7. im a local in the South Bay area and I totally love majority of the places that you visited because they're my favorite spots and I'm definitely going to give it a try on the rest of the places you guys visited cuz it looks so delicious!
Majority of the local places here in Torrance are very delicious and very diverse. But if you guys don't mind driving a little further I do have two suggestions that you guys might like to visit and try these are one of my highly recommended places to go and try and explore new foods. The first place is in Whittier it is called Rodeo 72 it's an indoor food court and it has very unique diverse foods that I think you guys should try. And then there's this really cool place in the city of Buena Park it's called The Source OC, they have so many shopping places and a lot of delicious places to eat it's very hard to choose and I think you guys should go explore there! Definitely hope you guys go visit you will not be disappointed.

  8. You guys do what my partner always aim, but fail to do. Only order 1 item per spot, but we always end up ordering half the menu from a single spot and it stops there

  9. I hope you at least tried Sushi Gone Wild over on Vista Montana in Torrance. My absolute favorite for over 20 years now. The baked green mussels, the fresh water eel, albacore and "dynamite" as well as hot Sake are all the best.

  10. We’ve moved to Torrance in 2006 , hoping we have a family but it never happened. But we both like Japanese food, Thai food, and Filipino . So close to Redondo beach, Gardena, Carson etc. Plus it’s a low key place. So far our neighborhood is friendly and mixed. Our property crashed but recovered over the original purchase price. We live so close to a Supermarket, Bank etc.
Hope the mom and pops store do recover.

  11. Our favorite thing at Izakaya Hachi is the motsunabe. If you haven’t tried it, then you have to go back. Also, at Ramen Josui I think their tantan ramen is one of the best (both dry and with soup, and I add chashu). We live much closer to the Gardena Tokyo Central but we’ll have to check out the new location 😊
