36 Hours in Munich, Germany | Marienplatz | Bavarian Food | Viktualienmarkt
We are visiting Munich, Germany during Oktoberfest! While we will spend one day at the Weisn, and, we are also spending 3 days in Munich. We’ll take a tour of city highlights including the Odeonsplatz, Felderrnhalle, Theatiner Kirche, Bavarian Chancellery, Hofgarten, and many other notable sites. Don’t miss Marienplatz and the famous glockenspiel. We also enjoyed shopping at the Viktualien Market and a stop at their biergarten.
There’s plenty to eat in Munich! Andy’s Krablergarten had some of our favorite schnitzel ever! We had Bavarian specialties at Augustiner Klosterwit and, of course, made a stop at the iconic Hofbräuhaus.We satisfied our sweet tooth with pastries and schmalznudl at Fischhut Cafe.
