We arrived into the waters of Santorini around 1:00 PM, with the tender process beginning at 2:00 PM. We were able to catch one of the earliest tenders, which made a huge difference in avoiding crowds. The weather was absolutely perfect — sunny skies, temperatures between 75–80 degrees, and no wind at all.

For our day on the island, we booked a Private Day in Santorini Tour through Shore Excursion Group, and it truly exceeded our expectations. From clear meeting instructions at the port to a knowledgeable local guide, everything ran smoothly from start to finish.

One of the biggest advantages of a private tour was the ability to move efficiently through iconic locations. We had plenty of time for photos, skipped long lines, and truly felt like VIPs throughout the day.

Although the tour included an optional winery visit, we chose to skip wine tasting and instead enjoyed a beautiful Santorini sunset, which was the perfect way to end the day.
