Thank you for including Sarajevo and Mostar on the list of cities worth visiting. In terms of history and architecture, Sarajevo is an interesting combination of Istanbul and Vienna. The northern (continental) part of my country was named after the river Bosnia. The source of the Bosna River is located in the suburbs of Sarajevo (Vrelo Bosne). From Sarajevo in the summer period, it is worth making two day trips and discovering gems such as the ethnic village of Lukomir and Lake Prokoški (Prokoško jezero). The southern (sub-Mediterranean) part of my country (Herzegovina) was named after a medieval ruler. Mostar is the largest city in Herzegovina and a very popular tourist destination.
