In this relaxed city walk, we wander through Faro’s old town, past ancient arches and city walls, into the Municipal Museum, and inside the impressive Faro Cathedral, finishing with views from its tower over the Ria Formosa lagoon.

Often seen as just a gateway to the Algarve, Faro is a city shaped by Roman, Moorish, and Portuguese history, with quiet streets and mosaic pavements.
