Bought these a couple of months ago for long walks. Had a minor crash on a scooter recently and now there's a hole in them. Is there a way to fix them where it's not too noticeable? I don't want water to get into the shoes when walking in all weather conditions. Buying another pair is expensive and feels wasteful bc these are so new. TIA for your help.

If they’re new, contact the seller or go to the store you got them and try for a refund, maybe a long shot but doesn’t hurt to try.
I had this happen. The upper wore through because of my extra wide feet and the way I walk (I get the big toe wearing through too), but the rest of the shoe was perfectly fine and the soles still had many hundreds of kilometres left in them.
My fix was to use medical tape (in my case the beige puffy type made my Nexcare) taped to the inside of the shoe in the worn spots. It honestly worked perfectly and totally held up. I walked a 300 km Camino with my $200 ASICS shoes taped on the inside in three places!
Sorry to see. Unfortunately, ON quality is garbage.
Buy real shoes for hiking.
Shoe goo
Get a couple of adhesive tent repair pads, add some shoe glue to them, and paste them one from the inside and the other from the outside, and hope for the best.
Aquaseal SR is superior to Shoe Goo IMO.
