Our road-trip takes us through the cities of Vigo, Santiago de Compostela, A Coruña, Foz, and Oviedo! We also visit Covadonga, Cangas de Onís, and the famous Bufones de Pría!

  1. “Bufones” has nothing to do with jokers.
    Yes, in Spanish a bufón is a comedian, a joker, buffoon, or jester.

    But it is also a word that comes from the verb “bufar” (to snort).
    So “los bufones” means “the snorters.”
    That's the problem with synonyms.
