ZAKYNTHOS TOWN Day Trip | Solo Holiday in Zakynthos, Greece | Ep 3/3
I’ve had a week long, land based holiday on the Greek Island of Zakynthos, also known as Zante.
I chose the resort of Tsilivi (apologies now for the dodgy pronunciation in the video) and stayed at the All Inclusive Tesoro Hotel, which I booked direct with TUI.
As usual I’m travelling solo, but the resort is good for couples and families too.
In this video I decided on a day trip to Zakynthos Town, catching the bus from Tsilivi for 4EUR return.
The town has a lovely waterfront to explore, several old churches and I enjoyed wandering along its shopping and cafe area too.
Back in Tsilivi I decided on proper Greek food for the evening, enjoying Lamb Kleftiko at Piero’s Restaurant. Then it was back out for a night on the town at some of my favourite bars.
A memorable day on my holiday.

Are you a fan of jumping on a bus and exploring your holiday destination?
It looks like a very busy town. Nice to see the old churches and a lovely harbour. The weather looks good. Have you enjoyed the food ??
We love exploring and have a soft spot for the Ionian islands of Greece, particularly Kefalonia. Enjoy your travels.
Loved Greece! I was there last July in Athens, Mykonos, Crete and Rhodes. I want to go again and explore the other islands, less touristy islands.
