Got to love a Fleming You can see why they’re so expensive. So well made
Sweedee is looking very relaxed and happy.
Mark, thanks for showing the Dusseldorf boat show. It is mind-boggling big. Really enjoyed seeing it. Such an odd place for the biggest boat show in the world — I've never heard Dusseldorf described as a yachting center like Fort Lauderdale or Miami.
Thank you Mark, Sweetie, Vince and Bob. Fantastic boat show, nice big toy shop for rich men.
For me there is nothing much worse than being presented with a rubbish coffee early morning.
Enjoy yourselves.
Cheers from Durban.
Great boat show. No wonder it took you 2 days to get through all of it. Thanks for sharing the info on the little tiny stove. So versatile. Love following your travels (from frosty Canada).
Came to the comments to see what Vince bought. How about Mark and Fiona?
Hello Mark and sweetie, correction fort Lauderdale Florida is the largest outdoor boat show, where Dusseldorf is the largest indoor boat show!
I generally don't like a lot of wood on boats, highlights in wood yes, but not plastered everywhere – but it really works on that Flemming. Gotta pay for it, but still.. I was looking at the prices for this show to visit a while back, and it's actually very reasonable, I thought.
Love the wood burners, hopefully N68 Dragon bought some!😂 I keep meaning to ask I see on the drawings of N51 that there is a skeg to protect the prop but yours lacks that feature, was it an option or have they added that to new builds?
So where were the Nordhavn boats at the boat show?? Did I miss it?
Clearly you are a Nordhaven man but would love to here your views on the fleming
You’d really need to know what to look for. It wouldn’t be possible to see everything.
That carpet walkway was impressive
How on earth would you whittle these incredible boats down to the one you want to buy.
I've been to the Motorcycle and Auto shows in Germany. This boat show looks as big. The size and amount of things to see is mind boggling. I have never seen anything close in the US.
Surprised to see sea Ray at the show I thought they had recently gone under
So mark you said the pastry tastes good at that coffee shop but the coffee itself tastes like it's been filtered through a jock strap is that about right and probably a well used one at that ha you have an excellent day and enjoy the dusseldorf boat show
Fun fact about the Tower next to the marina: it’s also a giant clock! The lights on the tower show the time, with the glowing dots representing the digits of the current time.
God help the Dusseldorf boat show it is mark and mister Dragon, what a pair only catastrophe can happen after that ha just a joke I hope you guys have an excellent time
👍👍👍👍
Brits and Tips very much an Oxymoron
That Fleming. Next level.
The Boat Show was not very busy, Sad.(satire)
Awesome tour of the boat show. Thank you.
The Webasto blue intake is the fresh air for the burning 11:00
00:23 – "to check out this show, and we were not disappointed" – Well Mark and Fiona, as viewers we came to check out your episode, and likewise, we were not disappointed! Thanks so much for the time and effort that goes into your content! This was a really good glimpse into the boat show! Loved getting a wee look around with you!
4:20 – as a bit of a coffee lover myself… I am really curious as to why this one was rated as the worst you've had. Was it a burnt flavour, was it temp, was it too much crema? Back home here in NZ, is there any particular bean/provider you especially like? I really like Pomeroys (Nelson based) and Atomic if I can get them. Locally Allpress and Underground are very nice too. Lyttelton Coffee Company call for a "triple shot" basket/brew and that, is especially nice!
Nick Burnham (Youtuber channel Aquaholic) must be so jealous you went to this show!
18:46 – the words of Youtuber Nick Burnham (Aquaholic) spring to mind… "this is little ship stuff" !
Currywurst is great
Great vid. I love the Flemings but with the big horsepower not sure I could afford to run it after purchasing 😂
It's nice to see they let the people just walk on and tour the boats, not like England where you have to make an appointment which makes our boat shows a waste of people's money.
Flemming all day, luv'em for the engineering.
Thank you for another interesting and enjoyable video.
That was amazing, huge boat show, how you managed to get through it in only 2 days is beyond me, thanks guys , great episode, loved the De Alm Trawler. Did you find your binoculars Mark?
Re the coffee in Europe, the Australian winter Olympic team, that is in Italy, have brought their own barista to make coffee for them team. Just saying
Man That is an awsome show. Good coverage Mark, thankyou. One of these days
Excellent video Mark. Beautiful boats. Thank you.👍👍
Seeing the heater cutaway reminds me of the AvGasJanitrol heaters that you probably had the misfortune to try and keep warm with in your early flying days!
Something I'd like to see someone exhibit is audio solutions for pilot houses. And also coffee/espresso machine systems. Then I'd want a Jachtbouw De Alm built around those very reasonable specs.
Great episode Mark – agree with your best in show boat – were there not any Nordhavn boats on display?
👍 looked great thanks for showing us around.
Was there no Nordhavn presence?
I’ve been to Das Boot 4 times. A 2 day trip, flying in from LHR, and stopping at The Melia with a bunch of like minded boaters. I’ve only ever managed 3 Halls. It’s a hell of an experience. Great fun.
Great video. Thanks a lot.
At least it was a coffee……..
