Avalon Waterways Rhine River Cruise Excursion to Freiburg, Germany
Our first excursion with Avalon Waterways Rhine River Romantic cruise. After docking in Breisach, today we took a guided tour to Freiburg, Germany. A lovely day spent riding the tour bus and being accompanied by the guide who guided us through the city of Freiburg and highlighted some of the sights in this beautiful city. The Freiburg cathedral was especially impressive as was just strolling through the streets of the city. Afterwards, when we returned to the ship, we experienced going through one of the locks along the Rhine River. Definitely an experience for anyone who enjoys being on the water.
