Motorhoming Germany’s “Romantic Road”! | Würzburg to Füssen | Neuschwanstein Castle | Ep. 52

It’s winter and we’re trying to avoid Germany’s cold snap! This week we find ourselves in Würzburg which just so happens to be the start of Germany’s “Romantic Road” (Romantische Straße). This route runs all the way back down south towards Füssen, which is where we’d wanted to start our whole trip in Germany before the cold came – so this works out perfectly!

It was such a fun week packed full of activities including visiting the captivating Rothenburg ob der Tauber (featured in ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’), walking the medieval city walls of Dinkelsbühl and Nördlingen and ending in Füssen, home of the incredible Neuschwanstein Castle – the very one a certain Walt Disney used as inspiration for the castle at Disney World.
