Apparently Yasu is Canada’s oldest Omakase, opened in 2014
The Toro was INSANE and so was the Langoustine but I didn’t like that they charged for every serving of Green Tea – other than that, no notes
It’s $195 per person without drinks or add one
The final check was $650 CAD with our add ons (we bought a bottle of Juyondai Sake) and their 18% grat

I was there about a month ago, agree all around. I also really enjoyed the monkfish liver and kelp marinated seabass.
That’s a good price for omakase in Toronto for 2 people
How’s the food scene in Toronto these days?
Thought Yasu opened in 2014 and is the first sushi in downtown. Zen in Markham opened in 2000
