  1. Hi. Unfortunately, it is not an old train. How do I know? Because I am from Poland and I rode a lot of trains in 90s and 2000s. These carriages are not older than 2000s. I think around 2003-2005 they started modernizing the trains and this was the result.
    Now, whether these carriages are refurbished or new, one thing that I can say is that you have no idea how they looked in the 90s and you would not be able to tell that these are they same carriages (assuming they are refurbished).

  2. Just for Comparison for my fellow Americans, This would be a trip (time wise) from Cleveland, Ohio to Detroit, Michigan on Amtrak. can you guess the price difference?

    Warsaw -> Krakow = 1st class ~$25 USD
    Cleveland -> Detroit = Private Room ~ $225 USD
    (the coach option is only $70 USD tho) 🙂

    what a fucking ripoff

  3. I travelled on Polish trains extensively in the 1970s. Let me assure you, that NONE of them looked as luxurious and clean as this train. I remember worn out and dusty seats, sleeping compartments with up to 6 strangers sleeping in bunks, and in the opened compartments the seats were covered in vinyl.

  4. In my experience, the 8-seaters are the default a lot of the time, and yes, it does get hella cramped. I also chuckled at you saying that the top racks have plenty of space for suitcases, cause I sure as hell spent several hundred hours in total with my knees being crunched by someone whose suitcase was way too big.

  5. Really enjoyed the video . My wife and I have travelled from Krakow to Warsaw Central station. It amazes me that the train's run in those conditions. I live in South Wales a couple of weeks ago we had the threat of snow and Transport for Fails ( Wales ) cancelled the trains for the rest of the day . Pathetic isn't it . Keep up the excellent work 😊😊.

  6. This text is complete nonsense. 0L01 The British Scale of Panic: We know that in the UK, the entire country shuts down, schools close, and trains stop because of 2 cm of snow. For us, what you call 'extreme survival' is just a Tuesday morning. We still walk our dogs and go for walks when it's -10°C without making a documentary about it.

  7. From Warsaw you can reach international destinations like Berlin, Praha , Vienna, Budapest, Bratislava, Vilnius, Kiev. In pre-war times Moscow, Minsk ,Nice , Amsterdam, Paris ( all russian railways) If comes to 2nd class, it is quite cheap and you can book early even 4 seats for a price of 1st class. So that is a trick. Try to book 3-4 weeks before. Anyways route to Krakow via Kielce is shitty, always look for a route via Idzikowice/Włoszczowa at rozklad-pkp website
