My wife has been wanting a Cot Tent for about a year, but she could never justify the cost since she already had solid solo camping gear.
Today, I found one on Facebook Marketplace for $40. I honestly expected it to be a scam, but I figured it was worth checking out. Turns out it’s in fantastic condition, with the rainfly, poles, and bag all included.
We set it up as soon as I got home, and it went up easier than I expected. She even hung out in it in the living room for a bit lol
For those of you who’ve used this model:
• Any comfort upgrades you recommend, like pad thickness or insulation?
• Any wind or rain lessons learned?
• Anything you wish you knew before your first trip with it?
