  2. Hi Bery. Thanks so much for your excellent content. Question please: is it possible to buy the Museum Pass online? And how long in advance can it be purchased? We're travelling to Istanbul in May but thinking it might be good to secure tickets before they have a chance to increase the prices?

    Thanks so much!

  3. holy moly, Istanbul has become very expensive in the last 10 years. It is not the same Istanbul any more. Too many tourist, too many tourist traps, price explosion, I don't know how locals survive in an environment like that. The place is amazing, if you find the right place to eat, food is amazing too. I have been lucky to enjoy the place without crazy pricing and insane amount of tourist. I have to take my family there some day but with these prices and over tourism, I am not looking forward to a trip anytime soon. So many better options now available around the world. If you can afford it, I would still recommend to visit the city for sure!

  4. Prices to the museums are too expensive now. Fortunately I’ve been to Istanbul before and experienced most noted in the video so I can skip them on my next trip. I highly recommend the trams/trains. With a little pre-planning to learn about the lines, I found that it was easy to navigate and much better than sitting in traffic.

  5. I haven’t been to Türkiye since my family immigrated to Canada. Looking at these prices, insanity. Doesn’t look like I’ll be coming soon. I’d wager it’s about a balance of inflation and government income, otherwise the prices such as the museum for $44USD should be down to about $25-30

  6. Just sad. I love Istanbul and love TĂĽrkiye, but these prices are getting out of hand. Just a constant greedy price grab and sadly, I'll probably never return.

  7. Prices are too high. Turkish Lire is down, but they are increasing prices for tourists as well. Ther are other places with more reasonable prices and more attractions.
