I am about to pray down my outdoor gear with this and wanted to check if there may be anything I’m not considering. The only thing I can think of is that it could be a fire hazard making things flammable but aside from that I can’t think of any other reasons.

  1. Futt_Bucker_Fred on

Some gnarly chemicals in there, definitely wouldn’t let it get on my skin and only apply it to gear. That being said though, probably a big source of PFAS given it’s a DWR coating.

  2. Don’t spray stuff that already has a different type of water repellent on it still present.

I love that stuff for pants, hoodies or really old ski gear that I’ve demoted to yard work / “dirty” jobs

  3. Wear a mask when you spray it, and obviously do it outside. You don’t want that stuff in your lungs. Otherwise, it’s good stuff 👍
