Spain to the UK – A 1500km Bike Ride – Saint-Michel-Chef-Chef and Nantes – Day Fourteen
This is the twelfth of a series of 15 short films made from the handlebars on a bike ride across France.
Starting in Portsmouth in April 2025 I take the ship to Bilbao, ride across the foothills of the Pyrenees, on to the coast and into France. Over the next 15 days I travel on La Vélodyssée, The Atlantic Cycling route, heading South to North. From Nantes I take a train to St Malo for the ferry back to the UK.
Covering around 100-110km a day on my fully loaded touring bike, visiting some of the key towns and villages on the way. Enjoying everything the weather has to offer in early Spring.
