Took my friend to Musaafer for his birthday and it turned out to be such a great decision. From the moment we walked in, everything felt elevated. The décor is stunning, the atmosphere is immersive, and the food absolutely delivers.
A special shoutout to our server, Sidhartha. He took the time to walk us through the menu, gave thoughtful recommendations, and made sure we were ordering the best of the best. His energy and attention to detail truly made the night feel special. He even helped us capture some great birthday photos, which we really appreciated.
Service like that makes a difference. Overall, an incredible experience — highly recommend for a celebration or just a memorable night out.

I’ve been trying to get a reservation here for a while. Maybe in the next few months haha
Anyone been to the NYC one and also the one-star in Houston? I tried the Houston one and thought it was decent, but it did feel like it was elevated only in presentation and not in taste over cheaper Indian food (and I wouldn’t put it in the same league as something like Semma, which I know itself is controversial on this sub). Plus the location, essentially inside a mall, was a little off-putting. And their AC unit kept dripping on us. Great service all around, though.
However, I have been curious if the NYC location is a different. I’d definitely try it if so. Based on the photos, it’s likely the same food, but not being in a mall definitely gives you substantial points.
