Used this tent once (REI BaseCamp 4) and noticed these mesh stretch marks (black in center of picture). Sorry for bad picture.
Tent poles are stored separately. Is there anything else to keep an eye on? Is this normal?
I really don’t want to have to return this unless absolutely necessary.

Sorry for bad picture. It’s stretching in parts of the mesh. That’s the only place it’s happening
Some stretch is normal with nylon and polyester, especially when it’s wet. This looks like damage.
The stretch marks are normal. Unless they feel very taut, i wouldn’t worry about them.
