First time in 65 years! / Tour de France in Bayeux / Publicity Caravan & Cyclists’ Departure

This video captures scenes from the Tour de France held in Bayeux, Normandy, France, on July 10, 2025. This will be the first time the Tour de France has been held in Bayeux in 65 years, since it was last held in 1960 as part of the route between Caen and Saint-Malo. Between 1910 and 1960, Bayeux was the venue for the Tour de France seven times. This shows just how eagerly the people of Bayeux have been looking forward to the Tour de France. For this year’s race, Bayou was chosen as the starting point for Stage 6. The course for Stage 6 is 201.5 km long, starting in Bayeux, passing through Flers and Barenton to the south, and then heading north to finish in Vire.

The video mainly shows the advertising caravan that departed an hour and a half before the cyclists set off. At the end of the video, you can see cyclists, including Pogačar in his yellow jersey, speeding past the historic Bayeux Cathedral.
