If anyone is looking for a 1-2 week circuit hike, I can highly recommend the Montafon Hut Circuit in Western Austria on the border with Switzerland.
The route is divided into 13 stages (I completed it in 9 days), and the diversity between the landscapes as you move from the Verwall through the Silvretta to the Rätikon is incredible.
There were a couple of more technical stages (e.g. Stage 3 from the Heilbronner Hütte to Bielerhöhe, or the descent to the Tübinger Hütte), but perfectly manageable for anyone who has done a bit of hiking.
I didnt really meet anyone doing the full Hut Circuit during my time in the huts, and some days I barely saw anyone on the trails. I booked everything about two months in advance (done in the final two weeks of August), and had some difficulties getting into either the Lindauer or Tilisuna huts, but theres plenty of other options.
