NCT 127 are bringing the opening chapter of their fifth world tour to movie theatres around the world with ‘NCT 127 5TH TOUR ‘NEO CITY : SEOUL – THE REDLINE’ in CINEMAS,’ a live broadcast from Seoul’s Olympic Park KSPO DOME on September 20.
Tickets are on sale now, while the official trailer for the cinema event has also been released below.
The broadcast will capture the final night of NCT 127’s three-show Seoul kickoff, marking the beginning of the group’s fifth world tour and their return to touring after a one-year-and-eight-month break.
The event also brings Taeyong and Jaehyun back into the touring lineup after both were absent from the previous tour while completing military service.
They join Johnny, Yuta, Doyoung, Jungwoo and Haechan for the new run, giving fans around the world the chance to watch the seven-member group begin its latest ‘NEO CITY’ era live from Seoul.
The timing also makes the cinema broadcast part of a much bigger year for NCT 127.
The group is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a year-long campaign and released its seventh full-length album, ‘BLINGY,’ on August 24. ‘THE REDLINE’ arrives immediately after that album, positioning the tour as both a retrospective celebration and the beginning of a new chapter.
According to the announcement, the “Redline” concept represents the group pushing itself toward peak output and beyond previous creative limits. The show will combine career-defining material with songs representing this latest phase of NCT 127.
That leaves a decade of music to draw from.
Since debuting in 2016, NCT 127 have built their catalogue around a deliberately experimental mix of pop, hip-hop, R&B and electronic production. Songs including “Cherry Bomb,” “Kick It,” “Sticker,” “2 Baddies,” “Fact Check” and “Walk” have helped establish the group’s distinctive “NEO” sound.
Their albums have also become regular fixtures on the Billboard 200. ‘2 Baddies’ debuted at No. 3, making NCT 127 the second K-pop act at the time to place three consecutive albums in the chart’s Top 5. ‘Fact Check’ and ‘WALK’ subsequently extended their Billboard 200 run.
The group’s international reach has been matched by an increasingly large touring operation.
Their previous trek, ‘NCT 127 4TH TOUR ‘NEO CITY – THE MOMENTUM’,’ ran from January through May 2025 across Asia and North America. Its Newark date marked the 100th performance in the overall ‘NEO CITY’ concert series.
Now the fifth tour starts back where NCT 127’s identity has always been rooted: Seoul.
The group’s name itself references the longitude of the South Korean capital, making the KSPO DOME performances an especially fitting setting for a major anniversary-era return. For fans unable to attend the concerts in person, the live cinema broadcast effectively turns that hometown finale into a global event.
Screening times will vary depending on territory, and some markets will show the concert later to accommodate local time zones.
The cinema presentation is being handled by Trafalgar Releasing in partnership with SM Entertainment. Trafalgar has previously distributed major music events and concert films from artists including Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, BTS, Metallica, Oasis, Coldplay and Billie Eilish.
‘NCT 127 5TH TOUR ‘NEO CITY : SEOUL – THE REDLINE’ in CINEMAS’ screens worldwide on Sunday, September 20.
