Kolon Life Science (102940) said it will take part in an international biotech event that draws leading Asian biopharmaceutical companies and investors, using the occasion to showcase its research and development capabilities and seek opportunities for global joint research and business partnerships.
The company said on the 27th that it will attend the Hong Kong International Biotechnology Exhibition, or BIOHK2026, to be held from Sept. 9 to 12 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.
BIOHK is an international biotech event where companies, investors and R&D officials across Asia gather to discuss industry trends and explore partnerships. The show draws more than 15,000 participants from about 40 regions each year.
At the event, Kolon Life Science plans to introduce its biotechnology business and R&D pipeline and to discuss collaboration opportunities, including joint research and development, with industry officials.
The company has steadily expanded its network within the global industry by attending biotech events at home and abroad. At BIOHK2026, it also plans to exchange views broadly with industry officials and examine the latest trends and key issues in the global biotech market.
“BIOHK2026 will be a meaningful opportunity to introduce Kolon Life Science’s biotechnology business and R&D status to industry officials and to exchange a range of views,” Chief Executive Lee Han-kook said. “We will continue to strengthen our external activities and maintain active communication with the industry.”
