A truly unforgettable day out in the Noto Hanto Peninsula north of Kanazawa. We went, plan barely in hand, and hired bikes from the little station at Hakui – a village famous for UFO sightings.
From there we headed up the coast past shrines, temples, peaceful lanes, cherry trees, coastline and had one of our greatest lunches in the town of Shika.
After a long day, nice and sunburned, we stuffed our faces with ramen back in Kanazawa.
