Golf’s biggest stars aren’t the only notable thing at the 2026 President’s Cup. The year’s last major golf tournament is being held just outside of the Windy City at the Medinah Country Club this week, featuring iconic players from across the US and Europe — and iconic food staples from across Chicago, like Wagyu hot dogs.
The Presidents Cup food and beverage lineup sources beloved dishes from the Chicago-based restaurant group, Lettuce Entertain You Restaurants, as well as other legendary brands such as Billy Goat Tavern and Sweet Baby Ray’s.
“One of the key elements of being in this market is having to figure out: how do we tap into that Chicago flair? Yes, we’re an international sporting event — but shame on us if we don’t have that Chicago thing,” Presidents Cup Executive Director, Joie Chitwood, told 10BEST.
Choosing which restaurants were going to be represented at one of golf’s biggest tournaments was no easy feat, according to Chitwood. “I can tell you we had a very healthy debate internally with our staff. Ultimately, we trusted Lettuce Entertain You as the experts in the field to tell us what products make the most sense on site.”
After narrowing down the list, Chitwood said him and his team now have 60 new restaurants they need to try in the Chicagoland area.
While the 10BEST team (unfortunately) couldn’t be on site for the tournament, we did get insider info about the best food and drinks at the Presidents Cup. We will warn you before you read on: this story will make you want to order food on Uber Eats or Goldbelly ASAP.

Must-try food at the Presidents Cup
With so many food options to choose from, it’s impossible to know where to start. Chitwood recommends starting with the Wagyu hot dog. “I saw that and I just thought ‘I want to give that a shot.’ But we’ve got things like lobster rolls and pizza. So, I don’t think you can go wrong with any of the brands we have on site.”
At the 1924 Club, guests will be able to taste exclusive food from the Medinah culinary and services team. Every night on the Oasis Grill and Oasis Patio, attendees can experience meals from three guest chefs.
The lineup goes as follows:
Thursday, September 24: Chef Jimmy Kunz, known as “The Truffleist”
Friday September 25: Chef David Burke, internationally acclaimed restaurateur
Saturday, September 26: Chef Hannah Flora, a competitor on Hell’s Kitchen Season 23 and Chopped Castaways

What to drink at the Presidents Cup
In addition to a plethora of food options, guests will never be thirsty thanks to a robust Presidents Cup beverage lineup.
“We’ve got some great partners on property. Obviously, Michelob Ultra has been a great partner as well as Buffalo Trace and Hendricks Gin. With great partners like that, we have fantastic choices for everyone,” Chitwood said.
The PGA Tour wasn’t able to give us exact drink measurements, but they did clue us in on what signature drinks to expect.
