Greece has something for everyone, especially cat people (I am not and still loved the cats in every corner). The mountains are bigger than you think, the water bluer, the people warmer, the food fresher, the olive oil spicier, and the churches more abundant. September was the perfect time to visit to make the most of its offerings. Tons of recommendations, especially for road tripping around Crete, if anyone is headed that way!
