JJ Travels: Pythagoreio, Samos, Greece

Our home base on the island of Samos was Pythagoreio. You may recognize the town as the home of Pythagoras of Samos, the philosopher and mathematician most famously known as the mind behind the Pythagorean theorem in geometry.

This port town was the perfect place to begin and end our days. We had so many amazing meals (as you can see) and met a lot of great people! Everyone was so supportive of my attempts at speaking Greek. Grace’s favorite night was watching the live music and Greek dancing at a local taverna. Outside of the delicious meals we also visited the churches, walked through the winding streets of the town, and enjoyed the beautiful weather and views.

Thanks for watching! Stay tuned for more.
