Kuala Lumpur is the capital city of Malaysia. Home to 2 million people, and one of the biggest cities in the Southeast Asia region, thanks to its airport which connects the region together. This video shows the layout of Kuala Lumpur’s central region, and just how accessible some of the attractions are from a centrally located hostel.
Kuala Lumpur has plenty of activities to do, and you can’t see everything in one day. But you can see all of the things in this video in one day, sure you’ll be rushed, but it’s doable. If you stay at a central hostel, like ‘Back Home Hostel’, then you can even walk to every single thing shown in this video, with the exception of batu caves.
Alternatively, get a Grab and give yourself even more time at each location. There are entry fees to a few of these things, so this is not a list of free activities. I personally don’t recommend the KL Forest Eco park because I think the fees are too high, but it is nice nonetheless.
Menara tower (or KL Tower as others call it) is definitely worth the fee to the sky deck, from which you can see the entire city sprawling out beneath you, as well as get a glimpse of the Petronas Towers from a different angle.
