Sézane has come to Madison Avenue in New York.
On Friday, Sézane, a popular Parisian lifestyle and ready-to-wear brand, unfurled a new 2,800-square-foot boutique at 1045 Madison Avenue, joining the brand’s two New York permanent locations in NoLIta and the Williamsburg neighborhood in Brooklyn. The new location was designed in collaboration with the Saint-Germain-des Prés-based interior design studio Pierre Lacroix. This is the interior designer’s first retail project in the U.S.
The space, dubbed L’Appartement on Madison Avenue, blends the feeling of a Parisian home with the sensibility of a gallery, layering in books, artwork by Franco-American photographer William Klein, and vintage furniture that bring Sézane’s immersive world to life.

The Madison boutique features vintage furniture, warm oak parquet floors, mirrored surfaces, sculptural lighting and a palette of chestnut, amber and ecru. “I always try to start with the existing space, its architecture and its history, and build on that rather than erase it,” Lacroix said.
In addition to Manhattan and Brooklyn, Sézane has permanent locations in San Francisco, Seattle, Washington, D.C., and Brentwood, Calif., as well as long-term pop-ups in Austin, Atlanta, Boston, Nashville, Dallas, Charleston, S.C., and San Jose, Calif.
Founded in Paris in 2013 by Morgane Sézalory, Sézane is a Parisian B Corp-certified brand. It is known for its effortless “French girl” style. The store carries women’s ready-to-wear and accessories and Petit Sézane – children’s- available in sizes newborn – 12 years.

The Madison Avenue opening follows the early fall introduction of 117 Rue du Bac, its most expansive Paris footprint to date. As reported, Sézane marked a major brand overhaul with the opening of a temporary store on the Left Bank in Paris that showcases its fall 2026 collection alongside a full lifestyle offering, including its first in-store café and bookstore.
Cementing its presence on Rue du Bac, which is already home to a permanent Sézane store and the brand’s corporate headquarters, the company took over number 117, on the corner across from department store Le Bon Marché. The space was formerly home to the Conran store and most recently housed a Zara Home pop-up, as reported.
