GREENVILLE — The Windy City’s cuisine has blown into Greenville.
Wolfie’s Drive-Thru officially opens at 11 a.m. Oct. 9. Located near 7-Brew and Wade Hampton High School, the restaurant brings classic Chicago dishes to the South.
Wolfie’s offers Chicago-style hot dogs, with a Vienna all-beef hot dog topped with classic green relish, onions, peppers, tomatoes, mustard and an entire pickle spear.
The restaurant offers a classic Italian beef, which comes wet, dry or dipped. Polish sausage is also on the menu, topped with grilled onions and mustard on a poppyseed bun.
Wolfie’s has more than just Chicago fare. Its menu includes smash burgers, bird dawgs, fries and onion rings. It even features a Greenville hot bird dawg with a fried chicken tender, Greenville hot sauce, pickles, ranch and a potato bun.
For those with a sweet tooth, the restaurant serves milkshakes, banana pudding and Italian ice fresh from Houni’s. Drinks include sweet tea, lemonade and Coke products.
Wolfie’s was founded by Dave Wolfgram and Tessa Wolfrgram, a father-daughter team with family from Chicago. They partnered with chef Russell Bry to create the menu.
The restaurant is located at 2112 Wade Hampton Blvd. and offers dine-in or drive-thru.
