The luxury grocery announced their long-term commitment with LACMA, ready to fuel daily visitors
The Los Angeles County Museum of Art, LACMA, announced its long-term commitment and partnership with Erewhon creating a permanent presence on the museums campus. Erewhon and LACMA are ready to serve the thousands of museumgoers along with Miracle Mile residents and workers with its inaugural pop-up café.
The collaboration is inspired by the museum’s foundation that was created by Alexander Calder. ‘Three Quintains’ (Hello Girls), created in 1964, is located at the front of the café and is one of the main drawing points for the collaboration.
“This integration represents the perfect synergy between two brands inextricably rooted in Los Angeles culture,” said LACMA Senior VP of Strategic Partnerships, Elizabeth Wiatt.
LACMA’s Erewhon smoothie is exclusive to the store located on the museum’s campus. The new smoothie brings color and creativity to the tonic bar and highlights the vibrant blend of organic pineapple, mango, strawberry, mandarin and lion’s mane.
“We could not be prouder to see our partnership with LACMA evolve from a pop-up into a permanent home,” said Erewhon CEO Tony Antoci. “As our first ever concept cafe, this marks an important milestone for Erewhon and the beginning of a new chapter in how we bring the Erewhon experience to the communities we serve.”
As a result of the collaboration, the culture of Los Angeles and champions of the arts, Erewhon is giving a portion of the proceeds from every Erewhon at LACMA collection purchase to support the museum’s dynamic education and exhibition programs.
This collaboration features limited edition apparel that you can find at the LACMA Store in the David Geffen Galleries. You can also shop the capsule on the official LACMA website.
“This truly feels like a celebration of Los Angeles, bringing Erewhon and LACMA together to nourish and inspire the community,” added Erewhon president Josephine Antoci.
