The largest folk and beer festival in the world is back: the iconic Oktoberfest takes place every autumn in Munich, Germany, drawing millions of visitors – and pouring millions of litres of beer. The festival is also renowned for its food stalls selling Bavarian dishes, visitors wearing traditional Dirndls and Lederhosen, as well as amusement rides and games late into the night.
This month, Flat Iron Square is bringing the epic Oktoberfest celebrations to Borough, so get ready to raise your beers and Prost at London’s ultimate Oktoberfest experience.
What to expect: Oktoberfest at Flat Iron Square
The Bavarian celebrations are taking over Flat Iron Square this month, bringing the signature Oktoberfest experience to London every Saturday until October 24. The space will be transformed into a proper Oktoberfest destination in the heart of SE1, with authentic Bavarian beer hall vibes.
You can look forward to live Oompah bands filling Flat Iron Square with folk songs and brass tunes, an emcee to bring the Bavarian party energy, and DJ sets until late into the night. Take part in traditional games, such as a bratwurst eating competition and the legendary Maßkrugstemmen. Ice-cold steins of Staropramen and heaps of bratwurst are par for the course, with a two-pint stein included in your ticket to kick off the festivities.
From 7 pm onwards, you can also enjoy free entry to the exclusive Oktoberfest Lates. Keep the party going until late into the night, with special guest DJs in partnership with Jägermeister.

If you’re coming with friends, make sure to grab your tickets in a single booking to ensure you’re all seated together – or get your own private table when you book for 6-8 people.
P.S.: Don’t miss the opportunity to dress for the occasion. Don your best Dirndl and Lederhosen to get in the spirit of the best Oktoberfest party in London.
