In this episode we are fly fishing for trout at this medium sized lake (3244 acres) in Eastern Washington on the Colville Reservation. It has different regulations than the state so be sure to check if you fish there. We discover a fly called “smoke and mirrors” and use it to catch and release many Lahontan Cutthroat trout on this brisk, but spectacular, March day. We fish from shore where a small creek comes into the lake and cast out as far as we can, then pull the line back in with a good amount of speed. The fishing is so good most of the day. A great day out of doors. I hope you enjoy this episode.
