Stage 6 Pau – Gavarnie-Gèdre – @ Côte de Mauvezin (cat 3)
In this video I show you the Côte de Mauvezin (Cat 3) early in stage 6. This town name derives its name from the castle that is on top of the mountain. Col d’Aspin and Col du Tourmalet are other mountains later in this stage. From this spot you have a panoramic view of the Pyrenees.
Since I have been to these mountains several times, I had to try something new. Because it is a long drive to tomorrows stage, I like to be done early in the day. This is the sixth day of the Tour de France 2026 on July 9th 2026.
