According to public filings, In-N-Out Burger is proposing a new drive-through restaurant at 5601–5627 N. Sepulveda Boulevard in Sherman Oaks.

Founded in Baldwin Park, In-N-Out is a fast-food chain known for made-to-order hamburgers, cheeseburgers, fries and milkshakes. The menu also includes customizations such as “Animal Style” fries and burgers.

What Now Los Angeles reached out to In-N-Out representatives for comment on the proposed restaurant but did not receive a response before publication.

Proposed operating hours are 10:30 a.m. to 1 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and until 1:30 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. The proposal also includes a covered outdoor dining area with seating for 64 people. The project’s total covered area, including the drive-through lane and patio roof overhang, would measure approximately 8,247 square feet.

Plans call for 64 parking spaces, including three accessible spaces and 14 designated for electric vehicles, along with short- and long-term bicycle parking.  The restaurant would feature a walk-up ordering window and covered outdoor seating.

The site spans about 1.7 acres at the northwest corner of Sepulveda and Burbank boulevards, next to the 405 Freeway. The property is situated along a corridor with nearby hotels, a gas station and medical businesses. The proposed landscaping includes drought-resistant and native plants around the property and throughout the parking area.

What Now Los Angeles has previously covered In-N-Out’s regional expansion, including planned locations in Sylmar and Monrovia and the chain’s proposed Woodland Hills restaurant.
