Carlos Alcaraz will lock horns with Alex Michelsen in the second round of the Paris Masters 2026 on November 4, as the Spaniard looks to continue his impressive run following his recent Vienna Open triumph.
Alcaraz enters the contest after winning the Vienna title, defeating Alex de Minaur 6-1, 6-4 in the final without dropping a set throughout the tournament. Michelsen, meanwhile, booked his place in the second round with a comeback victory against 15th seed Jiri Lehecka, winning 6-7(5), 6-2, 6-4.
The second seed will be the favourite to advance, but Michelsen will be keen to challenge the Spaniard after their competitive encounter in Tokyo last month. The Paris Masters match is scheduled to begin at 7:00 PM CET (11:30 PM IST), not before.

Carlos Alcaraz vs Alex Michelsen Prediction
Alcaraz enters the match with considerable momentum after winning the Vienna Open and will look to carry that form into the Paris Masters. The Spaniard has enjoyed another productive season and his ability to combine aggressive baseline play with excellent movement makes him a difficult opponent on indoor hard courts.
Michelsen has shown promising form after defeating Lehecka in the opening round, but facing Alcaraz will be a significantly tougher challenge. The American will need to serve consistently and take his opportunities to put pressure on the second seed.
