Osteria Angelina has opened The Glass Room, a new 13th-floor private dining space offering panoramic views across the City of London, as the restaurant expands its events offering ahead of the festive season.

Located above the restaurant, near the borders of Spitalfields, Shoreditch and the City, the new venue accommodates up to 22 guests and features floor-to-ceiling windows with access to a wraparound balcony.

The Glass Room introduces an additional option for private celebrations, corporate dining and special occasions.

The opening brings Osteria Angelina’s private dining offering to three distinct spaces, each designed to accommodate different group sizes and events.

The restaurant’s existing Private Dining Room provides a self-contained setting for up to 20 guests, featuring a private bathroom and dedicated server.

The space caters for corporate dinners, private parties and celebrations, with seasonal menus and optional wine pairings tailored to individual bookings.

For smaller gatherings, Osteria Angelina also offers a semi-private dining area within the main restaurant, accommodating up to 12 guests.

Positioned close to the open kitchen and pasta laboratory, the semi-enclosed space allows guests to experience the restaurant’s cooking and atmosphere while providing a dedicated area for group dining.

Across all three spaces, the food offering reflects Osteria Angelina’s Itameshi approach, combining Italian cooking traditions with Japanese ingredients and techniques.

The restaurant’s menus cover bread, salads, crudo, pasta, grilled dishes and desserts, with signature options including Hokkaido Milk Bread with Jam & Burnt Honey Butter, Tortellini with Truffle & Kombu, and Brûlée Black Sesame Cheesecake with Matcha Gelato.

The drinks offering includes a wine list featuring more than 300 labels, with a particular focus on indigenous Italian grape varieties and lesser-known wine-producing regions.

A cocktail menu also incorporates ingredients and flavours associated with Italian and Japanese drinking traditions.

The introduction of The Glass Room expands Osteria Angelina’s capacity to accommodate private events and group dining, providing an additional hospitality offering during the Christmas and New Year period.
