An interesting couple of days at London St Pancras on Friday 11th & Saturday 12th of December. Friday 11th, saw EMR operate its final VP185 & “Angel Set” HST trains and Saturday 12th saw the Midland Pullman HST Railtour operate to/from STP.
So on Friday 11th I had an hour to kill before joining the VP185 East Midlands HST. Managed to catch a rare shot of a Eurostar class 373 arriving empty from the depot, not entirely sure of its reason for being moved into St Pancras but these trains are currently not in service with Covid being a thing, they’ve been in storage for months.
As well as the Eurostar & Blue Pullman HST, there’s plenty of red EMR HST’s & Meridians and South Eastern 395 Javlins. Also a Class 59 arriving at the stone terminal just outside the station.
