Do your kids go to school?……..Yes, they are homeschooled with the help of an online curriculum, based on standards in the US. Amy is their teacher and the boys report it is twice as challenging as when they were in public school. Additionally, let’s not forget the education they receive why we are traveling. Most will agree there is no substitute for this type of education.
What are your names?….. Ronnie, Amy, A-man (Ayden) and B-man (Bastian)
How do you afford to travel?…. We work and make an average income(based on a US standard). We can work anywhere there is an internet connection and since we don’t have mortgage payments, car payments insurance etc., we can afford it. We find it cheaper to travel full time than have the lifestyle we once had.
How much do you spend on travel?…. Every video usually has specific costs of what we spend on food and activities. Check out this video to see how much we spent for an entire year:
Do you make money on Youtube?β¦. Not Really. The 1.5 years on Youtube we have averaged about $50USD a month. It has picked up a little recently but we are still a long way off from recouping the many thousand we have spent in camera gear, other equipment, software, etc. Not to mention it takes around 10-15 hours to film and edit a single video. So needless to say we arenβt in it for the money. We do however really appreciate the periodic PayPal donation and those donations from the few live streams we have done. Having a Youtube channel helps us connect better with people and learn more about the places we visit. That is why we try not to only entertain but to give back real info to other traveling to these areas.
