Peninsular Malaysia has one of the best roads and highways in Southeast Asia. We have done many epic trips in West Malaysia and that was possible due to the country’s large network of quality roads, bridges, and highways (in my opinion). Moreover, West Malaysia is easily navigable for self-driving travellers or overland travellers.
