We had figured out the intercity bus from Vlore to Saranda, Albania, but we had no idea the route was going to be so spectacular.
It ended up being less direct than we expected, it took a whole lot more time than we anticipated, and it was even a bit stomach-churning, but wow this bus ride was a highlight of our time in Albania.
And at the end of the line was Saranda, which is amazing, too, more about that coming soon…
