My tour, with a Calmac Hopscotch ticket number 8, in my motorhome, to the Western Isles (Outer Hebrides), starting off at Barra (from Oban) takes in the isles of Vatersay, Barra, ferry to Eriskay, South Uist, Benbecula, North Uist, and all these isles all linked by causeways.
Then over the sea to Leverburgh on the isle of Harris and on up to the Callinish stones and Carloway broch on Lewis. I returned via Stornoway to Ullapool, then homeward bound.
Trip undertaken in the first week of May 2019. If anything I would say make it 10 days as a minimum
