Today I ll be taking you to New Orleans ! The city of Jazz, architecture, food and Mardi Gras !
This city was established by the Frenchies, then was under Spanish rule, then back to the Frenchies again. It was the largest and most important city in the South, before being acquired by the Union in 1803 … a $15 million dollar deal … Frenchies , you gotta learn how to do business !
In 2005, New Orleans underwent a massive destruction due to Hurricane Katrina, leaving many people without any ressources, and leaving the city even poorer than how it was.
But hey ! Things are slowly getting better, and New Orleans, to me, is one of the most lively cities in the US.
