Road Trip across Europe in 92 Days with a Leased Renault

I and my wife had attempted a road trip across Western Europe for 92 days from March 5th to June 4th, 2013. We leased the French car Renault Scenic. As of 2013, the lease cost was 2,080 euros per 90 days including comprehensive insurance. This lease system is available only to non-EU citizens, and is tax-free, so it is cheaper than other rentals. However, it can only be used by those who lease for more than 21 days. A new car registered in my name came out, and it never broke down during the trip.

The total mileage during this trip was about 19,000 kilo meters in 85 days (staying in Paris for 7 days). It’s about 224 kilo meters per day on average. Transit countries are all 19 countries, including France, Spain, Portugal, Andorra, Monaco, Italy, Switzerland, Austria, Germany, Czech Republic, Hungary, Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and the United Kingdom.
