The A13 motorway connects Bologna to Padua via Ferrara and Rovigo. It is 113 km long. Its path unfolds throughout the Po Valley and crosses Veneto and Emilia-Romagna. The route originates from the ring road of the Emilian capital, which also joins the A1 (Milan-Naples) and A14 (Bologna-Taranto) motorways, while it ends in Padua with the intersection with the A4 (Turin-Trieste) motorway.
The A13 motorway was opened to traffic in 1970. The management is under concession to the company Autostrade per l’Italia SpA
