First off! Apologies for some of the out of focus blips throughout the video- I recently got my Camcorder fixed and may have a focus issue present so I am currently working that out at the moment.
Today, the second airline and flag carrier; Air Canada commenced commercial Boeing 737 MAX 8 operations for the first time since the worldwide grounding of the type 22 months ago. They are the second airline after WestJet to commence commercial flights with the MAX 8 in Canada. the only Canadian MAX 8 operator left, Sunwing; has yet to announce when they plan to return the aircraft into service.
On a brisk, mildly cold and partly sunny February 1st, 6 arrivals and 8 departures of the Boeing 737 MAX 8 took place in Toronto. Featured in this video is one arrival and three departures each taking place 40 minutes within each other; the arrival coming in from Halifax and the departures heading out to Ottawa, Calgary and Edmonton respectively.
