Malone’s American Café – Sometimes Less is More

If you have visited or lived in Shanghai for more than two or three months, chances are you have heard of Malone’s American Café. The first Malone’s opened in Shanghai 18 years ago on Tongren Lu in the Jing’an district, and it has since become a go-to place for expats that are looking for a good burger and entertainment. The 3-level establishment hosts live music performances every week and there are [pool tables and dart boards] to keep you busy between drinks.

Malone’s has one of the city’s largest selection of burgers and the staff tries to change the menu every six months to make room for new additions. However, The Double-Double burger has been on the menu since the beginning.
