As days of EMR’s HST’s are drawing to a close I once again headed for a ride up the MML to catch some of the 180s on film. I started by filming at Loughborough for about 20 mins before heading back on myself to Leicester where I filmed for a short while before joining an 222 back to London St Pancras. This was filmed the weekend just after “Storm Darcy” had battered the UK leaving the rail network with quite substantial disruption due to flooding in places, power lines down and landslips. The MML seemed reasonably OK, times have charged on the MML and I got a HST departing on my return to London St Pancras.
Includes EMR Class 43 HST, 180 & Meridian Cross Country Class 170, GBRF Class 66 & a Europhoenix Class 37 heading to Wembley.
