21 September 2019 – Day 30 – Ishigaki Island II
VLOG 292
It was all wishful thinking to hope the weather would turn out better today but unfortunately it’s even worse than yesterday. Winds blowing a gale and clouds filled the sky. 🌬 We couldn’t stay in for another full day so this time we go on a little excursion to Ishigaki Island Stalactite Cave!
Just a cruisy stroll this afternoon through the cave structure it reminded me of some of the caves I have been in – Halong Bay, Vietnam 🇻🇳, cenote diving Mexico 🇲🇽 and of course the Underwater River in Palawan, Philippines 🇵🇭!! Each time I’m always amazed at how these things came to be over millions of years and what the world looked like then. Makes you realise just how little a drop our time on this earth is. 🌏
Shizu has been travelling with me for over 2 weeks now and for the most part enjoyed filming the daily vlogs, but her favourite VLOG was actually my crying vlog back in Vietnam in during my SEA backpacking trip! She had watched it over and over before even meeting me and memorised some of the words! 🤦🏽♂️
The challenge today was to imitate the intro of my vlog the best she can, and I got to say she actually did quite well! Im glad it still brings humour to viewers even after 3 years!! 😅
